I only used konstruct once (that was before I switched to gentoo, which is 
itself source based and has no need of tools like konstruct), so I can't give 
you detailed advice.
basically, konstruct is a set of of shell scripts which will download/compile 
everything according to your wishes.
it is configured by editing a text file.
the exact description is in the readme-file that comes with konstruct.
