you can use konstruct, as mentioned above.
for suse 10.0, however, there should be binary packages (rpm's) available 
soon, if not already there.
just go http://download.kde.org/download.php?url=stable/3.5/SuSE/ix86/10.0/
and look for a mirror near your location.
