[kde-linux] smartcard support

Hello all,

I want to know if there is  a smartcard support under Linux and kde?
Is smartcard authentication (without and with a centralized Auth-Server)) 
possible with a only Linux lan?
MAybe also "single sign on"? with smardcards?
Easy to setup?
Or are there products for it?
