I don't disagree, but I don't see it happening. And that was why I asked 
about the leadership thing.

Of course, you realise that one can drive this without actually being 
around physically, right?

IAC, unless someone takes it upon himself to take the lead and get 
community members to contribute, KDE is going to cut a sorry picture 
this year.
