Subject: Request for interviews with KDE India developers
Dear Members of KDE India,
I am writing to request telephonic or face-face interviews with KDE
developers in India.
I am pursuing my PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. My
research focuses on understanding innovation in virtual communities,
specifically in the open source development community. I am interested
in tracing the contribution of KDE members in open source software
development and innovation.
I am currently in Bangalore to meet members of the KDE open source
community who are contributing to open source projects in various
ways.
This study would be very beneficial for the OSS community and is a
comparative study between Gnome and KDE. I have already conducted
interviews in UK and Turkey and hope to meet KDE members in Bangalore
or other parts of India.
Further information regarding my research can be found at
MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from
"owa.rhul.ac.uk" claiming to be

I would be extremely thankful if you could please put me in touch with
anyone contributing to open source development, particularly in
Bangalore. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Warm regards
Meera Sarma
