Instead of reverting, you can also use Hugin GUI for the moment (this is what
I'm doing). You will loose the integration with digiKam and you will need to
develop your raws beforehand, but their assistant has improved a lot over the
past few years and you should be able to produce a panorama in just three
clicks.

As for the bug reports, you can use the "advanced search" (on the top of the
page), and restrict your search to kipiplugins (Product) and panorama
(Component). This is applicable for any other product / component. Out of
curiosity, what keyword did you try when searching for a duplicate? (I can
change the title of the original bug report to make it easier to find, but to
do that I need to understand how users are searching.)
