If you use arch linux, you should use this pkgbuild (with attached patch):
http://kionez.org/public/PKGBUILD.kipi-plugins
http://kionez.org/public/fix_flickr_over_ssl.patch
(you should install just kipi-plugins-4.0.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz )
