This is typically relevant of libraw which is used to extract RAW image data.
Packaging to DNG is delegate to Adobe SDK, which is a common way to all raw
files to convert.

So i suspect that your libkdcraw (which include libraw) used to extract RAW
data must be updated to support A58.

Go to digiKam Help/Raw camera mist and look if A58 is supported.
