Hi Angelo;
and first off, thanks very much for your reply and your support in this,
really appreciated. :)

Would it be worth writing an enhancement request for that, or is this too far
off (in terms of requirement and / or implementation effort) to be taken into
consideration?

Well I actually do need JPG output as my print service does not support
creating photo prints from any other file type. Meanwhile I decided to go for
a "workaround", print the whole images to PDF at A0 image size, import this to
Gimp and then store each layer to a (large) JPG. A bit clumsy, yet it works
and provides the quality I need so I have a way to get this done.

Oh, no, not really. I should thank everyone who actually created the KDE
imaging infrastructure. Though of course it has some flaws, it in many
respects eases keeping track of large sets of images a lot! :)
Cheers,
Kristian
