To my knowledge, the latest kipi-plugin release is 1.9.0
(http://http://sourceforge.net/projects/kipi/).
I you ment digikam release 2.6.0: as I wrote in my first comment, I obtained
this behaviour with 2.5.0 and 2.6.0.
