[Kde-imaging] EXIF information is lost when "Recompress Images" batch processing

Hi,

I just opened a bug about kipi-plugins on Ubuntu 12.04 :

All EXIF informations are lost when I recompress images with batch
processing.

kipi-plugins packaged by Ubuntu is the last stable version (2.5.0)

I didn't find this bug KDE bugzilla, could you tell me if this bug occurs
only on Ubuntu or if it's an upstream bug ?
