Ok. I'm using an ATI 4870 with the proprietary drivers ATI 9.12 on Ubuntu 64
bits.

I'll upgrade the driver to version 10.1 (not 10.2 yet because there are know
issues with it) to see if it solves.

Regarding KIPI, I'm using is according to Adept Manager version 1.0.0 from
Kubuntu developers. Let me see if I can upgrade the plugins.
