3rdparty is a bit misleading, because in fact it's not 3rd party code, but our 
own, just a separate module. It also buries the kipi-plugins in some directory 
which is easily ignored.

digikam/
    \--kipi-plugins
    \--libkmap
    \--libkface
    \--core/ (or digikam/, or application/)

would emphasize that these modules are still somewhat independent, and that 
they dont depend on digikamcore in any way.
