[Kde-imaging] Digikam: is RAW image batch converter multi threaded ?

Hi all,

I noticed that during RAW conversion with the RAW image batch converter
kipi module, only one core was used on my dual core computer. I am wondering
if parallelization is or could be implemented for this module which
could greatly improve processing time as it is done in well known
proprietary software ?
