Summary: order photos from Snapfish through recently opened API
           Product: kipiplugins
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Wish For New Plugins
        AssignedTo: kde-imaging at kde.org
        ReportedBy: p.ixiemotion at gmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

According to
http://blog.programmableweb.com/2010/03/30/hp-opens-snapfish-photo-api-gives-developers-access-to-85-million-members/
the photo print ordering service HP Snapfish recently opened their photo API.
This could make a nice kipi-plugin.

Arguments in favour of making this plugin:
* As far as I can see there is no way of ordering photos through digikam etc.
* Snapfish provides a link to "your app" (kipi-plugins? or perhaps to all apps
using kipi-plugins), meaning more users

Arguments against:
* Snapfish provides a link to "your app" meaning more users requesting features
* Snapfish gives some money back to the app creator for photos ordered,
creating the need for a whole new layer of organisation in kipi-plugins and
related apps (unless you have a general tip jar)
