[Kde-imaging] libraw decoding problems

Hi,

can anybody confirm with a recent build of kipi-plugins on linux that identify 
of the raw file 
http://digikam3rdparty.free.fr/TEST_IMAGES/RAW/HORIZONTAL/CANON-EOS10.CRW is 
broken in dngconverter, shown as the camera name is Canon-3088x2056 instead of 
Canon-EOS 10D. When converting to dng, the resulting file has a wrong white 
balance due the missing identify.

On a windows build of libraw this problem seems not to be occur. 

And can anybody tell me why the attached patch fixes the problem for me? It 
seems that various canon powershot models are also affected.
