I don't think this is too off-topic, but I've recently been considering
something very similar (I also want this applied to the SmugMug plugin), only
I've been wanting to use the tags and descriptions in Digikam for keywords/tags
and the caption.  Since, as I understand it, kipi-plugins is "unaware" of the
Digikam DB, I've been unsure of the best method to implement this idea.  Am I
correct?  Where are the image description and tags, as seen in Gwenview,
stored?

Any other thoughts?
