sorry for the delay. I have checked out beta6 to check the error, but I can not
compile it anymore against Qt 4.5.1.
Anyway please try the latest digiKam version (0.10) or SVN and also the newest
KIPIplugins (0.3.0) or SVN.

Can you give us an update if the crash still appears? On my machine I can not
reproduce it.
