[Kde-imaging] Batch Process and Digikam

Hi there!

I was trying to batch resize some images directly to my pen-drive inside
digiKam. This worked fine when I used KIPI plugins with GwenView, but with
DigiKam it complaints that the destination folder is not in DigiKam's
database. I know of a workaround, of course: I open the images with GwenView
and then I resize them to my pen-drive - but is it necessary? I would like to
work only with digiKam.

Another thing: why can't digiKam send (export) pictures to any external drive
(pen drive or other-wise) like it does with iPod? I always have to call
Konkeror and browse to the folders if I want to send pictures to another
place that is not a digiKam album. That's kind of annoying :|

Is this already possible (and I just don't know how) or is it missing in
DigiKam? And if it is missing, is it going to be adressed or should I file a
Wishlist report?

Don't get me wrong: I think digiKam is a great app! It revived some of my
work :)

Regards,
Leandro
