[Kde-imaging] Batch MetaData Changes?

Hi!

Is there any way to use Kipi Plugins to change the date in the EXIF info of a 
given number of files at the same time? Or must I do it one by one?

Is there a way to do this with any other Linux application?

Why do I want this: I have a lot of scanned negative files wich have the 
scanning date and I wanted to change this.
