For me, this sounds familiar. The "invalid signature" is a common errormessage using flickrexport. I suspect that there are more than one reason for the errormessage; however so far I have only been able to point to the fact that if an image title (file name) contains non-ascii characters such as æøå, êèé and other characters including accents, the flickrexport returns "invalid signature".

It is suspected that the same error message is generated when some special combinations of characters are found in the EXIF comments or data fields. (With comments i mean the free text field, data fields = all other fields). Examples of such may inlcude a newline with a trailing space at the end of the comment field.
