[Kde-imaging] Digikam for KDE4 not finding kipi-plugins

Hi,

I get similar install trace except for the install location which is:
/usr/local/lib/kde4

I didn't install kde4 by myself. I am using a Kubuntu8 installation which
has KDE4 preinstalled. In my attempts to resolve the problem I also tried
copying my /usr/local/libs/kde4/kipi* to /usr/lib/kde4/libs and /usr/lib/
but nothing worked.

My digikam installation says "kipi library version 0.2.0-svn" on the
configure digikam window and kipi-plugins tab. Which implies libkipi and
kipi support are working fine for digikam or does it not mean anything?
