I found a similar problem. I can create a new album, but it's not public or
searchable (despite checking that box in the dialog), and I can't upload to
it from digikam -- even if that album lacked spaces in the name. I found the
recipe was to use the picasaweb web-interface to create a new album (name
without spaces), start the digikam interface, and upload then. Doing that
seems to work. I haven't seen "not fetched", even though I have spaces in my
online album names.
