As written in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96352#c52 F-Spot and Remote Gallery have no problems to connect to Gallary2 - they are still working with Gallery2 2.2.4.

I made an other Gallery2 2.2.4 installation on my local linux server with the same result: DigiKam and Gwenview can't connect, F-Spot and Remote Gallery have no problems.
