To make it clear: With F-Spot and Gallery Remote I can upload pictures to Gallery2 - as far as I know F-Spot doesn't use kipi-plugins --> Gallery2 remote setup is ok.

Gwenview uses kipi-plugins isn't able to upload pictures --> It's not a problem of DigiKam or Gwenview - it must be something wrong with galleryexport.
