thanks for letting me know. as we get to 4.0 we'll announce a process for app 
maintainers to register their app as ready to go out with regular extragear 
releases, so you can tag on to the train then if you guys want... you'll 
still be able (and encouraged) to do your own interim releases as well; in 
which case we (kde release team) will simply package the last stable release 
as marked by you =)
