Hi all,
I was trying to install digikam on slackware, and when I was compiling
kipi-plugins, I got this error
make[4]: Entering directory `/home/jerojasro/Desktop/digikam/kipi-plugins-0.1.3/kipi-plugins/common/exiv2iface'
if /bin/sh ../../../libtool --silent --tag=CXX --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../..

exiv2iface.cpp; \
then mv -f ".deps/exiv2iface.Tpo" ".deps/exiv2iface.Plo"; else rm -f ".deps/exiv2iface.Tpo"; exit 1; fi
exiv2iface.cpp: In member function `bool KIPIPlugins::Exiv2Iface::clearExif()':
exiv2iface.cpp:100: error: request for member `c_str' in `(*((+e)->Exiv2::Error::_vptr.exception + 8u))((+e))', which is of non-class
type `const char*'
Googlin' a bit showed that apparently kipi-plugins has problems when
using libexiv2. Below are the versions of the related libraries
exiv2-0.14-i386-1
libexif-0.6.13-i486-2
libkexiv2-0.1.5-i386-1
so, am I using a too recent exiv2? do I need to downgrade? if so, to which version?
how can I make it compile?
Thanks in advance for your help,
PS: please answer this mail CC'ed to me, since I'm not in the mailing
list.
