Summary: gpssync: do not recreate thumbs when geolocalizing
                    images
           Product: kipiplugins
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian stable
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: GPSSync
        AssignedTo: kde-imaging kde org
        ReportedBy: arnd.baecker web de

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

Adding GPS coordinates (via digikam, using the Picture
geolocalization correlator or with edit geographical coordinates)
forces the thumbnails to be re-created.

This is unnecessary as the images themselves are not changed.

For 100+ images this may take some time,
in particular because thumbs are not (yet) created
in the background but only for those images which are
presently displayed in the album view, see
