I don't know if it is the same problem reported by Col but you can have a look at
http://www.linux.it/~anaselli/Kipi/imageviever.jpg
to see what i get every time I play with zoom.
The original photo was a Christmas tree (bottom left corner). I don't use either
beryl or [ai]xgl by now - 2d normal view :)
