[Kde-imaging] Problems with "HTML Export" plugin

Hi all,

I'm having a couple issues with the KIPI HTML Gallery Export plugin.
I'm using it with digiKam and would like to make web albums out of
some old digital photos.

1) I have no control over the order of the images in the gallery (and
the default order makes no sense). Ideally, I would like to order the
images by date taken, but the plugin seems to be ordering images
either at random or by last-modified date.

2) The plugin does not seem to take EXIF rotation data into account.
In digiKam, all the images display in the proper orientation -- but in
the HTML export, the images are all in the default orientation
(landscape). So anything that should be in a "portrait" orientation
is flipped on its side in the gallery output.

I tried to look online for a solution to these problems, but the HTML
export webpage looks to be out of date:
http://www.kipi-plugins.org/drupal/?q=node/17 -- and the kipi-plugins
manual from SVN did not have anything useful.

The screenshots on that web page look very nice, as it looks like the
plugin has some nice configuration options. However, I don't see this
configuration dialog from within digiKam. Is there something special
I need to do in order to access this configuration dialog?

Here's my configuration:
kipi-plugins 0.1.3
digikam 0.9.1
Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn)

If anyone can provide me with any hints, I would appreciate it a lot.
Thank you!

Colin
