Mhmm, works here. I remember a failure that I fixed via
setting env LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8. Should I commit the release_kipi-plugins_cl.sh?
allee(0) ~/repos/kde-svn/trunk/extragear/libs $ ./release_kipi-plugins_cl.sh
+ LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
+ svn cat https://ach@svn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/3.5/kde-common/release/svn2log.py
+ svn log -v --xml -r 'HEAD:{2005-09-06}' https://ach@svn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/extragear/libs/kipi-plugins
+ python ./svn2log.py.tmp-31760 -p /trunk/extragear/libs -o ChangeLog.new-entries
539484
539482
538737
538265
...
457773
457637
+ rm svn2log.py.tmp-31760
allee(0) ~/repos/kde-svn/trunk/extragear/libs $ wc -l ChangeLog.new-entries
1147 ChangeLog.new-entries

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
