Angelo, temporally solution can be done to ignore all RAW files format during 
slideshow. Look into jpeglossless plugin, there is a simple method to check 
RAW file format.

In the future, this plugin need to use the new digiKam preview tool witch 
support all RAW file:

You can test it with current trunk implementation of digikam, and select F3 in 
an album full of RAW files...
