I'm rellay confused, the patch seems to be ok and the file rejected seems
not to say much more than "i failed".
Anyway if you want to compile kipi-plugins without ipod export you can
a) download new configure.in.in from svn
   (http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/libs/kipi-plugins/configure.in.in?rev=611628&view=log)
b) use your preferred editor and change by hands kipi-plugins/Makefile.am
   search for the lines:
   if compile_IPODEXPORT
    IPODEXPORTDIR = ipodexport
   endif
   and change the one "IPODEXPORTDIR = ipodexport" in "#IPODEXPORTDIR = ipodexport"
   or remove  "$(IPODEXPORTDIR)" from SUBDIRS=....
   and save it.

After that you should run from top source dir (e.g. the one named kipi-plugins-X.Y.Z...)
make -f Makefile.cvs
than again ./configure with your preferred options and "make && make install"
If you're packaging you should use make -f Makefile.cvs first anyway if you want Makefile
or configure being created correctly with the new patch.

HTH,
	Angelo
