Since you're a mandriva user you can read also:

i released a patch in cooker, not in 2006 by now.
Anyway by the end of this mounth we should release a new kipi-plugin
version that has a fixing for that (follow the related bugs).
And that version will be uploaded on kipi site with a mandriva 2006
package.
