Digikam and kipi-plugins compiled and installed fine, but the raw conversion plugin says failed to convert.  Won't generat preview either.  I'm using dcraw ver. 6.31. in /usr/bin/ and /usr/local/bin.  Not sure where the plugin looks for it. That's it.  No crash, just an error message.  BTW my dcraw works fine with my gimp plugin and with my installed ufraw.  Thanks
