OK - printed from the kipi-plugins.  The colour is good, definitely warmer than the original print, so I re-printed from gwenview kipi-plugins.  That also has good colour.  It looks as though the different paper - the original print was the last page of that batch.  Sorry to have wasted your time.  Anne
