[Kde-imaging] scan image plugin (kipi) can make gwenview/digikam crashing

Hi trying using scanner from gwenview (via kipi-plugins) I forgot to 
switch on my scanner (an hp psc 1610 all in one). In this condition gwenview crashes.
Here is the back-trace

I made a test with digikam as well and it crashes too.
