Current releases of Gwenview can be compiled with kipi support. Testing
this out and talking to the other kipi-affected Debian maintainers was on
my past-Sarge/post-summer-fieldwork todo list; I guess you've done most of
my work for me :)

Anyway, if you could upload your packages somewhere, then when I get back
to my computer (sometime next week), I'll let you know how gwenview works
with kipi - I could certainly upload (somewhere) gwenview packages with
kipi support.
