As far as I can remember, that "USB massstorage camera" text edit box was
activated only when you were selecting "USB massstorage" from the Camera
type list.
This setting had no effect without a proper line added in the fstab file.
With that line any image viewer can see and get the images without any
help.
So, I removed that part from the configuration dialog box.
Using USB massstorage does not imply using libgphoto2. It was simply
hardcodded to allow DigikamKameraKlient to directly access such a device.
I considered that a USB stick or a camera that acts like a USB stick and
can be accessed with ordinary methods like the mounting of a CD-ROM does
not need this extra effort.
E-mail me if I am wrong, but please be patient because I will be very busy
the next two weeks (Oh, God, it never ends!).
As regards the crash, some people experienced with Kimbada I am curious
which version of KameraKlient was used because the bug I am aware of was
solved.
