Well, the problem is that the KDE installer doesn't handle pcf fonts. So =
you=20
have to install it by hand. He may not feel comfortable with it.
What I did was to put the file in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/ and then=
=20
issue the command "mkfontdir".=20
However I did backup the following files: encodings.dir, fonts.alias,=20
fonts.dir. It is likely that encodings.dir is not there anymore after you=
=20
issue mkfontdir. In that case you can put it back into place from the bac=
kup=20
version.=20
I am sure there is an option mkfontdir that let's you preserve the encodi=
ng=20
file :)
