I would be happy if you do so. It's just meaningfull.

I actually did something like this in one occasion. There is a program 
in KDE called Kandalf's Tips. Well, Lord of the Rings readers, know 
that Gandalf is a wise wizard in these books, and kandalf was a play 
with Gandalf and KDE (These are nice hacks IMHO). In KDE 3.1, we 
translated kandalf as kandalf itself. which isn't really meaningfull to 
the iranian audience. So now I changed it to 'nasayehe zal' As you 
know, 'zal' is rostam's father, who is a wise wizard, in shahname.

Things like these are welcome in my opinion.
