Dear KDE Translation Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am one of the active contributors to the Persian (Farsi) translation of KDE, and I would like to formally request SVN access in order to commit translations directly to the repository.
Unfortunately, the only current SVN commit member for Persian, mohi, has been unavailable for some time. As a result, we are facing a growing backlog of completed translations that cannot be committed. Additionally, other contributors are waiting for files to be locked so they can begin translating, but the lack of access has created a bottleneck in the workflow.
Previously, when I raised this request on the mailing list, I was advised to contribute to a few translations first, and that SVN access could be granted later based on demonstrated activity.
Since then, our team has successfully translated major components including:
-
Dolphin
-
Plasma Workspace
-
Tokodon
-
Parts of NeoChat and many other parts of KDE Project.
These contributions have been publicly documented and archived in the Persian translation mailing list. I actively participate there using the email address behdanisohrab at gmail.com.
Given the current situation and ongoing need for active SVN management, I kindly request that you consider granting me the necessary access to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the Persian translation project.
I would be more than happy to provide any additional information or confirmation you may require.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
Best regards,
Sohrab
