How to compile docmessages to docs

I am in the process of compiling Plasma docmessages into docs from .po files to .docbooks.
I use adapted French script for Slovenian. I have some success and some problems with these scripts. More than 100 applications have been successfully compiled to docbook.
There are two groups of issues:
1.
About a dozen apps have common diagnostics of some sort undefined &abbrev;
such as
index.docbook:243: element interface: validity error : Element interface is not declared in interface list of possible children
&fundamentals-chapter;
where &abbrev; for Plasma6 is from this list:
&underFDL; &kmail-configure; &fundamentals-chapter; &reporting.bugs;
where &abbrev; for Plasma5 is from this list:
# &LMB; &RMB; &etc; &ie; &Backspace; &Enter; &kde-frameworks;
I suspect that the scripts must have some config file somewhere, where these abbreviations are defined (maybe incomplete?). Can anybody help?
2.
Another specific problem is recognition of error diagnostics, especially where XML errors occur.
Example:
property 'svn:ignore' set on 'sl/docs/akonadi-calendar-tools/konsolekalendar'
index.docbook:75: element othercredit: validity error : Element othercredit content does not follow the DTD, expe
cting ((personname | (honorific | firstname | surname | lineage | othername | affiliation | authorblurb | contrib)+) , (personblurb | email | address)*), got (firstname surname CDATA affiliation contrib)

kf.doctools.core: Error: `xmllint --noout` outputted text
Is there any suggested tool to find at least rough location of the error in .po file?
Thanks for any hints
