Can we delete POT Kommit Handbook template from trunk?

We have a stub template for Kommit Handbook [1] that it's untranslatable 
in its current state. Some days ago, we deleted docbook.index from git 
(main [2] and 1.6 [3] branches). But Kommit doc template is still alive, 
and some teams are wasting their time translating it.

How can we kill this POT template in trunk?
