Dear KDE Translation Coordinator,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Bhanuprakash Kokku(Humbled
Neuron), and I am an avid supporter of the KDE community. I am reaching out
regarding the current absence of a Telugu translation team for KDE
applications and documentation.
As Telugu is one of the most widely spoken languages in India, I believe
having KDE resources available in Telugu could greatly benefit many users
and enhance KDE's accessibility. I would like to express my interest in
initiating and leading the Telugu translation team to contribute to this
effort.
I am confident that, as a native Telugu speaker, I can help establish a
strong foundation for the team. My initial goals include:
- Building a network of volunteers who are passionate about translating
KDE resources into Telugu.
- Prioritizing and translating key KDE applications and documentation to
maximize impact.
- Ensuring the translations adhere to KDE's guidelines and maintaining
close collaboration with existing KDE translation teams.
I would appreciate your guidance on the steps required to start the Telugu
translation team and any documentation or resources I should refer to.
Please let me know how I can formally begin this process and contribute
effectively. Additionally, I attempted to join the webchat on Matrix to
connect with the community, but my attempts were unsuccessful, even when
trying from another homeserver. I hope you can guide me through resolving
this issue as well.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am excited about the
opportunity to support KDE and look forward to your response.
Warm regards,
Bhanuprakash Kokku
