no worries, I do not believe anybody will be offended.

Problem is that there is no designated language coordinator for German since 
Frederik resigned, see

Andre showed the klash script to me a while ago and said I should run it 
occasionally because he anticipated that he wouldn't have time for it any 
more.
As I had a lot on my hands in the last weeks, and I thought that another 
person does this occasionally, too, and because there was no schedule known to 
me, running the script was not on my "urgent things to do" list.

Anyway, my main point here is: IMHO it only makes sense to discuss possible 
changes in the workflow if there is a language coordinator. Nobody has stepped 
forward yet.

Like Andre, I'm only amenable to run the klash script from time to time, but  
won't take on the coordinator job.

We use the Summit workflow, see

I tend to agree with you assessment.
But the workflow is more complicated only for the language team 
coordinator(s), it should be easier for the translators as they only have to 
translate one po file instead of two.

Who are those? The translators? The not existing language coordinator? The 
responsible persons for every single project? (In case the work done for the 
current workflow by the klash script for all projects has to be done manually 
at the project level.)

I think we need a new language coordinator for German first as a change would 
need someone willing to implement it. It may be that after the change from SVN 
to git some new person would consider to step into that position. I hope that 
this will be the case.
