Translation of "Assign images to GPS data" in KGeoTag

Hi all,

I'll try again in English, as I didn't get a reply earlier (I thought this
mailing list would be read by German speakers only) ...

This is about the German translation of "File" --> "Assign images to GPS
data" in KGeoTag. This is a core function, and I think that the current
German translation "Bilder an GPS-Daten zuweisen" is a bit opaque.

It's about finding matches between the images' dates and present geodata to
be able to automatically assign coordinates to the imges.

I personally would translate it as "Bilder an GPS-Daten ausrichten" or
similar. Or is the English term incomprehensible/wrong? I'll happily change
the C locale term in the sources if so!

About my initial question: I can't simply change this in git and push it
(assumed the source code version is correct), can I? This will be overwritten
by the next sync, no?

Cheers, Tobias
