Responding to the patch sent to the kde-utils-devel mailing list.

I don't think this is the right solution -- have you regenerated the German
translation files after this change to the .ui file? It looks like your patch
worked because the corresponding translation was not found. For instance, using
the x-test translations I'm still unable to press "2" and see the number 2 in
KCalc.

A quick look at
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kde4/de/messages/kdeutils/kcalc.po?revision=1231486&view=markup
shows me they have translated "Ctrl+2" into "Stgr+2". My knowledge of KDE's
translation infrastructure is close to zero, but I think it will fail to
associate this to Ctrl+2 -- in fact, the shortcut ends up being "2", which
conflicts with the actual shortcut for the "2" button. The whole situation with
x-test is worse than the one with de, as most shortcuts will not be valid, so
when KCalc calls setShortcut(QString(shortcut())) the string will be empty.

Translators, would it make sense to fix the de translations and/or mark these
shortcuts as untranslatable?
