No.
Reason is that a lot of people don't need that 'patch', it works for them.
And I can not reproduce this bug on at least five different systems (master +
branch 4.6 compiled from sources, kubuntu 10.10 with 4.6.2, some VM's with
Kubuntu + openSUSE).

None understands so far why it works on some systems and why it does not work
on e.g. your system, so it is impossible to 'fix' the issue.

Please attach your kdeqt.mo + kcalc.mo.
What is your keyboard layout / keyboard hardware?
