Huhu,

I’ve been watching the list for two days now, hoping to find out which
language to use in this mail. *g* But since that was’t really fruitful, I’ll
stick to English for now.

I read on Planet KDE that there are translators needed, so I said ”heck, why
not“. After all, I consider myself quite proficient in both English and
German. After I made contacted I was asked to introduce myself, so hi, I’m
Frank. :-)

About having (to have) the latest trunk running: I’m still on 4.4.5 on Debian
due to the Squeeze freeze. I tried 4.5 on an old machine via backports and
what I saw kept me from upgrading my main machine. Ironically the reason
(amongst others) was that there were some untranslated items floating around
in the UI. I have a Gentoo with 4.5.3 in the pipe, though. It should be
finished by the weekend. :D

I read through the FAQ and at first wondered about the websvn stuff, because I
thought the move to Git is already finished. For the start, to get into the
matter, I could fill up holes in 4.5, if that is still a possibility.
